This notice covers junto.travel. It explains what we collect when you use this site, why, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. Junto Travel Limited, based in Dublin, Ireland, is responsible for your details. If you have a question, email hello@junto.travel.
The Junto trips platform at app.junto.travel has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
When you fill in the Build with Junto form, we collect:
- your name, if you give it, and your email address
- your community’s name and a link to it, if you give them
- what kind of community it is and roughly how big it is
- what you’d like to grow first, and whether you want to run a trip
- whether you ticked the box to get emails from us
- how you found us: the website that sent you here, the page you landed on and any campaign tags in the link
We also see your IP address when you send the form. We use it for a few minutes to stop spam and don’t store it. The company that hosts this site may keep it in standard server logs.
Why we use it
- To reply to your application, book a call and talk to you about bringing your community onto Junto. We do this because you asked us to (in GDPR terms, steps before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch).
- To send you occasional emails about Junto, but only if you tick the box on the form asking for them. That’s your consent, and you can take it back at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us. If you don’t tick it, we only email you about your application.
- To see which links and campaigns bring leaders to Junto, using the “how you found us” details.
- To keep the site and the form safe from spam and abuse.
Who else sees it
We never sell your details. Only the Junto team and the services we use to run this site see them:
- Klaviyo, which holds our contacts and sends our emails. Your form answers go straight to it.
- The company that hosts this website. If Klaviyo can’t be reached when you send the form, we keep your email address on our server so your application isn’t lost.
Klaviyo is based in the United States. Where your details leave Ireland, the EU or the UK, they’re protected by the safeguards data protection law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your application while we’re talking to you about Junto. If we haven’t heard from you for two years, we delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address, so we never email you again by mistake. If you join Junto, your details are covered by the platform’s privacy policy instead. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Cookies
This site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. It keeps the “how you found us” details in your browser until you close the tab, so they can go with your form.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, get a copy, correct them, delete them, or ask us to stop or limit using them. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. Email hello@junto.travel and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change how we use your details, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects details you’ve already given us, we’ll email you first.
